Jolee graduated from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She then worked in New York as Social Secretary to Brooke Astor and then in the White House Social Office in Washington, D.C. During these years, Jolee met and was inspired by many great designers (Albert Hadley, Jeffrey Bilhuber, and Ken Blasingame, to name a few) and she soaked in fabulous rooms - ones that withstand the test of time and are created with a solid, classic foundation and layers upon layers of warmth and individuality on top. Jolee loves the different design possibilities that appear with each client – and she provides them with tailored alternatives, which in turn create impeccably beautiful spaces – each one well-representing clients and their families. When coming to Charlotte over a decade ago, Jolee began her interior decorating career with Bill Cooper of Connoisseur, llc. With this great mentor, she gained years of hands-on experience in the design field as well as a trove of knowledge about art, antiques, rugs, fabric and furniture. Over the years, her design passion has organically transformed from a hobby into a full-scale business - Fennebresque Interiors.
