Roisin Giese and Miggy Mason are the principals and co-founders of Twelve Chairs Interiors. They met while studying interior design at Cornell University where they discovered a shared aesthetic and design sensibility that inspired the launch of their residential design studio years later. They share their clients’ love of historic homes and the charm, character, and craftsmanship that come along with them. Roisin realized her passion for interior design at the age of sixteen and never looked back. She spent my summers during college surrounded by the most beautiful textiles and furnishings at the storied Boston Design Center showroom, Webster and Company. After graduation, Roisin returned home to Boston to join the design team at Elkus Manfredi Architects. While she enjoyed the challenge of designing for companies, it quickly became evident that she wanted to design for families and not brands. It is now 10 years later and Roisin can confirm residential design was her true calling! When not designing for clients, she can be found planning her family’s next adventure, hunting for antiques or renovating her 1926 Colonial home in Cohasset that she shares with her husband and two young boys.
